Hey all,

Well, I took the SAT for the second time today. Feel like I did better than last time..its only a matter of waiting for that fateful day when scores come out..D:

Anyway, now that I'm over with the SAT I for now, I need to retake SAT IIs in December, and, as you probably know, I only have one month of prep to do. So, I wanted to know which SAT II subject tests are the EASIEST and FASTEST way to improve in a months time? I'm planning to take 2 - 3 tests.

Please don't include language SAT IIs.

I'd appreciate the help ASAP; I need to apply before the late registration deadline.

Thanks so much! :)

omfg the regular deadline already passed? i didn't even know.

so how much extra is it?

What's sad is that there's no problem in paying for it, but I really don't want to take it now because I feel stupid for not paying for it earlier.

Yeah, it did! Like two days before the exam, I was studying late at night, and then the thought came to me.."did the deadline pass yet? OMG when's the late deadline?!?!" So I check and saw that it did pass...its $22 extra though..not too bad I guess.

Have you taken Chem/Bio/Phys AP? if so, those might not be that bad. I got a 690 on chem without taking Chem AP.

I think if you took AP lang or AP lit last year, then the SAT II Lit will be pretty easy, 'cause all you do is read passages and answer follow up questions.

mmeyers, did u take chem honors or just chem 1? which books did u use?

Hmm..well today's the day before the late deadline, so I really need to sign up now or never. I was thinking about taking Math I - it contains only Geometry, Algebra, and Alg II, right? If so, is it easier than SAT Math or much more harder? What are your thoughts on this?

I might take three, but I'm not so sure. I don't know about Physics, since I haven't taken the course yet, but will get started on it this month (and try to finish it before the month is over..I'mma homeschooled.) What do you think?

Thoughts? Comments?

Oough..I have SO much stuff to do this month..X_x; hoping for awesome November SAT scores. I better not procrastinate!! D:<

GardenMaiden,

About math 1 v.s. SAT I math: I can regularly get every question right on previously administered SAT/PSAT math sections, but when I took the SAT Math Level 1 last saturday, there were definitely some problems I couldn't do.

Wow..it must be pretty hard then, huh? o-o I guess these problems are a lot more straightfoward, regular high school problems.

Gaah. Today's the last day! I don't know what to choose! D: I know I'm not going to take any language with listening tests, because I haven't taken a foreign language course yet. I also don't want to take Biology since it has been two years since I last took the course..who knows what I could've forgotten? Now Math I might be out of the question, and my friend had taken SAT II Physics in her sophomore year and said it was hard..I'm not pretty sure though because she didn't study much..

And literature? I'm terrible at reading and interpreting poems/paragraphs. I had gotten a 420 on literature last time. -_-;

What should I do?

Nah, Math Level 1 is still tricky. It requires you to think; probably moreso than does the SAT I math.
