If you had to prepare for either the biology or the chemistry subject test in one month which subject do you believe would be easier to succeed on in this short amount of time?

what courses have you taken/are you taking?

i ve taken both subjects for a year

Which one did you take most recently, or do you remember more? I think Biology is easier to study for, since it’s just memorization. Chemistry could take a while if you can’t remember some of the concepts; just as well, it take no time at all if you do remember the concepts. Take practice tests in both.

Agreed. If you’re better at concepts and some math, study and take the Chem one. But the SAT II biology as well as AP bio’s lots of memorization.

One can study and perform well with a week’s preparation on the Bio SAT 2s and APs if memorization isn’t a problem.

Chemistry would probably be easier. The materials that cover SAT II Biology is quite extensive compared with other SAT II subject tests. Plus, the curve on Biology might be somewhat harsher, so if you don’t feel entirely comfortable with the material, it’ll be rather difficult to ace the test.

I’m in a similar predicament. I need to take 3 SAT Subjects and I only have one month to study. I bought the Princeton Review for Chem SAT and the ‘SAT Math 1 & 2 practice tests’ book, and I got a 5 in AP US last year.

One month. Should I just focus on SAT Chemistry and wing it on SAT Literature and Math I? What is the best course of actions, oh wise CCers?
