One more question about courses (and one about summer term)

<p>(1)I just looked at courses offered in previous semesters and found out that some courses are available in the spring term only.</p>

<p>Does this change? I mean, if there is a course that I want to take that was offered in 2008 spring term, will it still be there in 2009 spring term (when I will be at Duke)?</p>

<p>(2)Another thing... I have seen that there are "summer terms." Does this mean that I can stay at Duke during summer and take courses for credit?</p>

<p>1) chances are it will be, but it might not. if its a special topics course, then i wouldn’t count on it, but many times it will be – or if not spring '09 then spring '10 or something.</p>

<p>2) yes.. you can stay and take summer classes for credit.</p>

<p>There are two terms during the summer so theoretically you can stay the entire summer and pick up two credits. They’re intensive because its one class every day and its a short period of time.</p>
