one more question about SAT! sorry !!

I emailed Cornell today just to be sure that they accept january sat 2 scores and they replied

Thank you for your interest in Cornell. Many students are concerned as to how late they may take their standardized tests and still be considered for admission. If you're applying for Regular Decision (January 2, 2010 deadline), take the SAT and the SAT II subject tests no later than December of this year (earlier is preferable). If you are applying Early Decision (November 1, 2009 deadline), plan to take the SAT before November of your senior year, or the ACT no later than October.

Note: Early-decision applicants to the College of Arts and Sciences or the College of Engineering are strongly urged to take the SAT II Subject Tests by December so their scores can be used in the regular decision process if they are not admitted under early decision.

Does that mean they dont consider january sat scores At All?

That’s what it sounds like to me.

I just called the school and they said they STRONGLY recommend that I complete the tests before January but if I am really desperate and can’t meet the deadlines, I can take them in January and they will consider the scores if scores arrive in time. Does anyone have experience of sending in the scores late? do they usually arrive in time to be considered? Can i plan out everything thinking that Cornell will accept January scores for Sure? :frowning: :frowning: The only college that requires SAT2s on my college list is cornell…otherwise all the other schools I am applying to dont even require them… anyone who has ever been in my situation Please help!!

strongly recommend = just do it
