Call me crazy but I am thinking about taking the SAT Subject Tests one more time in the January sitting, though hopefully someone here can talk me out of it.

My scores are (only need 2 tests though):

Math IIC - 800
Biology M-690
Chemistry - 690
US History - 610

I'm applying to Ivy-caliber schools and am seeking a degree in some sort of science.

I'm planning on retaking Chemistry(3rd time!) and Biology M(4th Bio test, 3rd of the Molecular type!).

Should I go ahead and take these tests in hopes of improvement (hopefully 750+) or is it too late in the process/look bad?

Errr...yeah. Feel free to retake, but don't just "hope" for improvement. Stuuudddy. Studystudystudy. Oh, and if you only need two tests total, why not just focus on acing one (of chem and bio)?

I was originally studying for Chemistry since I thought I would have the best chance at a good score for that one. Since I am taking AP Bio and finals are right before the SAT day, I figured I would just take that one too since I'd be studying for it anyways (and in case the Chem one is insanely difficult that day).

The reason why I'm not taking US History again despite the (relatively) atrocious score, is that I never took AP US History and I only took the first one because I thought that pre-Reconstruction material would be pretty light and I thought I could self study that section.
