<p>The class won't really affect anything except my GPA (will raise it).</p>
<p>It’s better to let them know ahead of time because they use the transcript to match to what you have told them. You don’t want to look like a liar or have a different grade with out them knowing</p>
<p>I think they would probably just assume I made a mistake on the app since the changed grade is higher but yeah I guess I should. </p>

<p>I would most definitely contact the admissions office even if your grade improved. They match your transcripts with your application and look for any differences and you do not want it to look like you lied. They’re first instinct isn’t that you made a mistake, if you do not reach them first, they will eventually reach you asking for a explanation.</p>
