Appyling to UM engineering EA.June ACT: c30/eng32/math29/sci27 writ29

Sept ACT: c28/eng26/math30/read25/sci31 (no writ)

I was sick when I took it in Sept (excuses, excuses, excuses) I really wanted to bring my math & Sci which I did. But I fell apart during my ENG&READ. Will Mich. take best scores. Since I am applying to Engineering, I want to send both because my Sci & Math are better in Sept.

Any advice , any at all would be appreciated! Send one or both of them?? I am ready to push the send button on the ACT website!

Any advice at all. Please!!!

bump bump. Advice please

There is only one point difference between your math score from both sittings, yet a 2 point difference in the cumulative score.

I would be inclined to send the 30 composite score, since that is more midrange for admits, while 28 is bottom quartile. That said, I truly don’t know about the COE program. Why not note on your app that you increased math and sci but that the composite was lower so you didn’t submit?

Thanks. My science came up 4 points that is why I was thinking of submitting it. Do you think admissions would take the best of the scores to make a decision?
I know this is a reach for me, so I need every point I can get!

No, they don’t superscore, but that doesn’t stop you from including a note to COE admissions about it.
