Marion, Little John, Robin, Sheriff; based solely on morality and honesty.

Marion wished to save Robin, but assumed that the end justified the means. That doesn’t always work, but in this case, is acceptable.
Little John’s crime was to take advantage of the situation, seducing Marion at the expense of his friendship with Robin (assuming). The lesser of three evils.
Robin acted jealously, egocentrically, ungratefully, and unreasonably. He did, however, have a reason to be angry, which makes his behavior understandable.
The Sheriff took advantage of his position. He not only took advantage of Marion, but also failed in his duties as a jailkeeper. While he kept his promise, it was based on immoral grounds.

in decreasing order of morality:

LJ, MM, Sheriff, RH

that Robin Hood sounds like a real d-----

I think mine was a little insulting, as are most others.

** Maid Marion, Little John, Robin Hood, The Sheriff**

We would expect you to be a happy, well-balanced person who likes people and is liked by others. You question whether many conventional views on morality are valid under all circumstances.

Men: Do we detect a sense of chivalry and idealism under the sophistication?

14% of total, 15% of men, 13% of women, male/female 59%/ 41% (scaled: 54%/ 46%)

Lol…

Those are pretty much the exact same reasons I had for this order!
Maid Marion did something somewhat unmoral, but was honest about it and did not do it for selfish reasons (assumingly). Who can blame her for going off and trying to find happiness.
Little John is pretty sketchy, but in the end his actions benefitted Marion. Who knows if he was being honest. (Okay maybe it is apparent that I am a girl since I assumed the best of Marion and the worst of LJ lol)
Robin abused her?! Man. But he has high standards and you cannot fault him for leaving her.
Sheriff: His actions were completely selfish and morally despicable. Even though he did keep his promise (makes him honest), for some reason I think his morally reprehensible actions are worse than any other combination of lies+immoral behavior.

Maybe it’s like: possibly lying and being sketchy is not as bad as abuse which is not as bad as using sex for a bargaining tool. I dunno. But I thought it was interesting that we basically had the same reasoning - somewhat validates the analysis? Maybe? There are a lot of good orders though. The reasonings are the most interesting thing.

Marion, Lil John, Robin and Sheriff. Male.

Enough with the philosophical explanations, I’m skipping to the social explanation for this.

Marion did this to be with Robin again, possibly for the rest of life had she not done it. Robin was very ignorant and stupid and didn’t realize it was done in order for them to be together again. The moron chose not to accept that and instead insult her and leave, leaving poor Marion in even worse condition than before.

Now John steps up and offers Marion the next best possible solution at this point because of the circumstances. Any one is not dumb enough to say no and and live lonely for the rest of time. So she accepts John’s offer considering Robin bounced forever.

And as for the Sheriff, he will now serve life in prison once Marion gets back at him with an attorney and the city council.

I had Little John, Marion, Sheriff, Robin Hood. I had placed the Sheriff above R.H. just because he kept his word (sure he was an a$$). Robin seemed like a nut job and, I don’t think, did anything to show his integrity or morals.

lil’ jon, lil’ jon, lil’ jon, lil’ jon, lil’ jon,

ooo HAI CT!!! <3

Lol. I had a hard time deciding between Robin Hood and the Sheriff, but RH seems like a complete jerk and is quite ungrateful that Marion prostituted herself to get him out of jail, lol. She seems very moral to me, and honest because she admitted what happened and everything; LJ seems quite all right - he always gets the short end of the stick anyway, so he’s fine, lol; the Sheriff at least kept his promise, and Robin did nothing right.

edit - HAHA am I the only person who put this answer?! Gah.

Marion, Little John, Robin, and The Sherrif
