The last grid in one for international students showing graph f(x), where it was life f(x+1)-(x-1) or something what did everyone get for it???

oh probably that one that had a graph and mentioned that g(x) = f(x+some number)+f(x+some-other number) that you had to find the answer of each from the graph then add?

eluded* sorry

6*********

Yes, the answer was 6.
It is also said in the consolidated answers thread.

It was the easiest question of all time.
6.

thanks for that -.- I put 3

What would
-3 wrong of them being grid in be
or
-4 wrong 2 of them being grid in

Im asking because I put 3.3 for the one that was 10/3 :

Isn’t 3.3 the same as 10/3 as long as you fill the extra spaces with 3’s?

i dont remember this. Can someone elaborate? Was this grid in?

If you guys can remember what type of a graph it was I can remember it. I do remember a g(x) question though. I got really simple answers and do vaguely remember a 6 but I’m not sure

g(x) = f(x+1) + f(x-1)

which means you move f(x) to the left one unit then to the right one unit. in the end g(x) is the same graph as f(x) so you would solve the problem by looking at the graph that is already there.

skim 9892: I REALLY don’t remember anything like that. Was it experimental? I had grid in experimental. I do remember a question about moving X but that was MC and the answer was easy to get because it was like (-t)^2. But seriously I did not get that. On the consolidated list there are no 6’s

OMG! I did not read this: international students in the OP.
I fail sorry.

Yay hopes for 800 are back!

@skim9892:
I used a different approach. I found the value for f(x-1), f(-1) and the value for f(x+1), f(1). Then I added the two to get 6.
According to the consolidated list of answers that is the correct answer. Did you get 3? (I read somewhere that someone else who used your approach got 3.)

@141421356

It was not experimental bc i had a writing experimental…but does that mean you did not take int. sat? then you didnt have that question bc usa and int had a different test this time…

@abrayo…im not sure what answer i got but i think i got 3 as well

@abrayo…

now im unsure that i got that question right…i think your approach is reasonable and i wish i had tried both approaches to make sure i have the right answer :(

I may have ended up with a 6 but for the sake of predicting my scores realistically i’m keeping it 3. Skim Your approach was the same as mine… can’t remember exactly what I put but have a feeling it was 3 :P. If you did get 6 then maybe my approach was somewhat correct.
