How long does it take to prepare for the Calculus BC exam, for someone that doesn't know anything about the calculus BC exam? haha, I have one month to prepare for it (my teacher told me to try). any recommendations on the book that i should get? and should i even bother? i know the BC exam is basically two college semesters of calculus.

Im assuming you've already signed up (application deadlines are long past due):

It is hard, but it is certainly doable. Take the "Master the AP Calculus AB and BC" examinations booklet by Peterson's and study it with rigor. Also review things that aren't in that book such as the Lagrange Bound Error.

Also consider studying Calculus BC over the summer to get a firm understanding unlike the tenuous grasp you will get from an AP study guide. Try Apostol's Calculus Vol. I or, if it is too dry for you, Stewart's Calculus.

thanks a lot, i appreciate it. so do you think i can get maybe a 3 or more if i practice for only one month? i haven't learned any calc yet. but today is day 1

Dude, if you haven't learned any calculus yet, it'll be really really really tough. Taking it as a class is already difficult, but you'll have to do some hardcore studying to make it work. Be familiar with the test, and take a few practice exams, if you have time, but focus on actually learning the stuff.

However, if you're taking the initiative to learn a year's worth of math in a month, I'm sure you're really smart. If you work really really really really hard, you'll be able to do it. And work A LOT OF PROBLEMS. That's the only way to make math stick.
