One school out there

There has to be one school out there that accepts transfer students into a ba/md sort of program..

i've heard of people transferring to rutgers or vcu or gwu medical programs but have heard form other sources that no school accepts a transfer student into any medical program like that...

any info appreciated.. thanks

University of San Francisco

You can do all sorts of programs like that, they also offer a 4 year bA/2 year Law at their law school etc.

tncpauld - thanks for the response.. i couldn't find anything on the usfca site about special medical or even dental programs..

just to clarify i want to know if any schools accept transfer students into their special programs not simple pre-med or pre-dental..

by special program i mean one of the following
- having to not to take the mcat or dat or something
- gauranteed seat in graduate school if student maintains certain gpa or gets certain score on test
- accelerated in some manner
- combined with another degree

Never go to the same school for undergrad and grad....it's understood.

really? Apparently i've never understood it then.

Yeah I know a couple schools have a BA/JD program where you start your JD your junior year.

as far as not going to the same graduate school as undergrad.. i don't see the problem with that..

..im intersted in schools with medical programs

This is true in the case of academic fields and PhD's, it is not nearly as important in the case of professional schools. Most people who want to get into the world of research and academia are advised to pursue their PhD's and Post-Docs at different institutions. When you're dealing with Law, Medicine, Dental, Vet, Business, etc. schools, the diversity gained from switching programs is not nearly as important because the people who run the professional schools aren't the same people who ran/taught you as an undergraduate.
