One school out there

This is true in the case of academic fields and PhD's, it is not nearly as important in the case of professional schools. Most people who want to get into the world of research and academia are advised to pursue their PhD's and Post-Docs at different institutions. When you're dealing with Law, Medicine, Dental, Vet, Business, etc. schools, the diversity gained from switching programs is not nearly as important because the people who run the professional schools aren't the same people who ran/taught you as an undergraduate.
