Just curious, since I'm not anywhere near achieving this personally, but...

How do you think colleges would look at a 2400 scored over the course of 4 test periods?

Say the first test they got all low 700s, second test they got an 800 in Writing but low 700s for the rest, third test they got an 800 CR but low 700s for the rest, and fourth test they got an 800 Math but low 700s for the rest.

Do you think they'd subconsciously think lesser of this person than someone who scored a 2400 in one sitting?

Do the Ivy League schools do that as well? Also, how about three or four tests spread out over a longer period of time (for example, a lower middle school score for a Talent Search, a sophomore score with some improvement taken just to measure progress, and one or two more junior/senior scores that are near-2400)

I know that they take the highest of each, but they at least SEE the other scores. Do you think that they'd subconsciously weight someone who scored a 2400 over time less than someone who scored a 2400 in one sitting?

This is a very prevalent topic of discussion on CC, and there's really no clear cut answer. Yes, it's their policy to only consider your 2400, but on the other hand they do see everything, and, let's face it, a superscored 2400 is less impressive than a single sitting 2400. However, it's definitely not a big enough factor to influence your chances.
