Hi,
I’m an italian student that will spend one semester (from August to December) in one university in the USA.
These are the options:
UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA
UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS
MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY
TENNESSEE UNIVERSITY
AUBURN UNIVERSITY
UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA
Does anybody of you know something about these universities or whether i should choose one instead of another one?
I want to point out that I am not interested in knowing which one is the best academically speaking, but from a point of view of the liveability and the entertainment offered by the college/city.
Thank you so much!
You’ve picked some great SEC schools during football season. Wow - you will have an American college experience at any of these schools. However, I’m partial to Auburn University (I’m mom if student), it’s campus and surrounding community and most importantly the very nice friendly campus environment.
The fall semester? I hope you like American Football.
For “Fun”, I would pick Athens Georgia (University of Georgia). It has a great music scene and you’re going to be more interested in off campus activities than on campus. It’s also not far from Atlanta, which is a major US city.
To bad you didn’t have another SEC school on your list, Vanderbilt. Nashville would be awesome.
University of Georgia or university or Alabama would be terrific. UGA has a better college town but both universities will be very ‘lively’ campuses in the fall season (crazy with -American- football). Both have super nice campuses with lots to do (most college students find their fun through their campus community).
Thank you so much for your help!
Do you know something about the other universities such as
UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS
MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY
TENNESSEE UNIVERSITY
?
Thank you so much for your help, i really appreciate it.
They’re a bit like the others but less well located.
Which ‘Tennessee university’ is it (in which city/town is it located?)
If you have any interest in hiking, UT is close to the Great Smoky Mountains which you could explore on the weekends.
You will definitely get the big college sports experience there.
