Failure to submit all of the above document(s) or required additional information by the stated deadlines may result in cancellation of your admission.

I have only taken English 101 however (and 127 creative writing, and 206) because my dumb counselor told me these fulfill the requirement. The thing is, the 2nd transferable English course is not mentioned on my conditions of acceptance, so I am assuming i can’t be rescinded if I don’t have it… correct?

As long as I complete those requirements I am fine? If I did not have the proper credits, I should have been rejected, or had a different set of requirements. So as long as I pass my math class, and fill the other requirements… I should not have to worry right?

…anyone?

contact UCD and clear everything out with them… I’d do that if i were u :)

Well what I was told when I asked a UCD official was that as long as I meet the requirements listed the agreement they would have no reason to rescind me. I did not ask about the English course specifically, because I was not aware it was a problem.

I think I should be fine, since if it was an issue I am sure Davis would have brought it up by rejecting me, or adding more conditions.

What is you major? I have a similar problem as well.

My major is political science

Have you been on assist.org? I’m pretty sure it’s fine. You should talk to a UCD representative about it to make sure.

I don’t think you will be rescinded but expect to take that English class at UC Davis.

any other opinions? I figure they can’t rescind me since it is not part of my agreement, but I will just have to take the class at Davis

I did not ask specifically about the English course, but i messaged the UCD rep on these boards. My question to him was: as long as I complete the requirements from my conditions of acceptance I cannot be rescinded correct?

his response: “Correct! If you meet your conditions of admissions as listed on the MyAdmissions site we will not have any reason to revoke or rescind your admissions offer.”

So I think I am good.

^
Yeah, don’t worry about it. You have the first semester of school to complete the pre-reqs or whatever class you might be missing.

thanks sakurax, you have been really helpfull in this/ other threads

^
Here to help! [: You’re welcome and good luck! ^__^;;

Without even responding again, your post was helpful a 2nd time sakurax…

I was getting paranoid about this again since i submitted my SIR today, but, they cant rescind me for missing a class that wasn’t on my conditions of acceptance. Reading your post again, calmed me down for a 2nd time…haha

… any other opinions? or is sakurax just the best and 100% correct =)

^
HAHA!

Okay, now you’re just overreacting. I’m pretty sure on this! If you really want to make it “official” just have a chat with UCD Admissions, or there’s even a UCD Rep here on CC. [:

I think I am fine now, just re-read that post a few times. Its not in my conditions of acceptance, so I am not worried.

I already committed to Davis and just got an email from a UCR admissions counselor that kinda helps calm my fears. He said that: “I will be admitting you for the Fall 2009 quarter on the provision that you complete English 102 and Statistics 1 by Summer 2009 with a C grade or better for both courses. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Have a good day.”

This makes me a bit more relieved, because if the 2nd english course were to effect my admission decision, it would have been posted in my conditions of admission for Davis.

Thanks for the help sakurax.
