My sincere apologies for no pm reply in the last few months here on CC for those prospective students who had inquired me regarding to his or her chances of admission to THE Ohio State University - Columbus. I’ve been very busy lately this past year (got married and will be expecting our firstborn son soon!! Thank You Lord!!). In short, hope the above official report helps!

P.S. Note that the acceptance rate for last year (2013) was roughly 48% (Comm App), down from 64% a year prior. The yield for 2013 was similar to 2012 at approx. 41%. The Freshman Enrollment will remain at 7,100 students until 2015 with applicants expected to surge to around 40,000 based on the report, which would further lower the acceptance rate to low 40% in the next year or two with an ave. ACT score of 29. The ACT Composite for 2013 was 27-31, up from 26-30 back in 2012. Academically, Ohio State is now the most selective institution in the B1G, behind only Northwestern and Michigan. Go Bucks!! :)

Thanks Sparkeye7, great info! And congrats on your marriage and pending fatherhood! :)
