Just a sanity check this morning.

We are still awaiting 5 final notification/award letters (albeit, we had a couple of odd/extenuating circumstances with our FAFSA).

I provided more info to both FAFSA and the schools themselves, and some have given award letters which I have questions about, and now they've been sent back to "special circumstance" or "aid review" committees.

Beggars can never be choosers, and in asking to be further reviewed, I do feel like a beggar. It is what it is, though, and I will just be grateful for any positive outcomes, no matter if I wait til May 1 or not :-) .... Meanwhile, I'm just checking to see if others are also in this situation, and whether you have any super-attentive admission counselors or financial aid counselors who you feel go the extra mile for your child.

I will say that out of (8) eight schools in an already-narrowed field, we have had a wonderful young man with whom we've been working at Ohio Wesleyan University. He is very young, but knows his stuff, and he's a gem of a communicator! (I rarely experience this, and feel the need to share :-)).

Thank you to all the pros on this board who have borne with my dumb questions for the last year on this topic. You are so appreciated.
