One word of advice for Fall 09 transfers

@ sobizzle,

there’s nothing wrong with being a weirdo! don’t get me wrong… my idiosyncracies are probably more than most people can handle… it’s just that anyone who adopts some sort of dogmatic resistance to inhebriation (or just about anything, for that matter) doesn’t sit well with me.

again, i’m talking about people who keep straight edge out of PRINCIPLE… in the sense that even 1 sip of wine at a fancy dinner, or champaign on new years, or a single toke on 4/20 is off limits, simply because they “don’t do” that. ever… to be stuck in any sort of dogmatism, however seemingly beneficial or ‘obviously righteous’, to me, is manifestly evil, because at that point, it seems to become less about being healthy and just, and more being slave to one’s beliefs… and, again, that ****'s evil.

if someone says ‘no’ 99 out of 100 times, that’s fine… so long as i see that they make their decision in the moment, in accordance to the specific occasion, at each and every occasion that requires they give an answer… otherwise, like i said, one becomes a slave to his beliefs… and not only is that evil, but it does well to discourage pursuing friendship, or even conversation, to a certain degree…
enough ranting… sorry.
