One year of AP Latin enough?

Hey, so I am currently a junior and took AP latin this year. My highschool also offers AP for seniors, where the topic is slightly different and we take an AP exam on pros instead of Vergil. So I was wondering if it would look bad to not take any foreign language classes next year? I would be replacing it with a different AP class like AP psychology or AP statistics or maybe both. My reasoning is because only one teacher in our school teaches Latin, so I would get him next year, and I honestly do not think I can stand him for another year. My grade is really good in the class, its just that he puts an incredible amount of pressure on his students. Like this year he told my best friend to give up on her dreams of being a Doctor because she is not smart enough and she ran out crying. We have essays for homework assignments a lot and he became so obsessive with my writing, because he liked it, that if I made a single error he would say in front of the entire class that I was slipping and needed to try harder. It got to the point where my heart would start racing and I would start sweating whenever I wrote, because I knew that he would analyze every single word I wrote. My family thinks I should not do it next year, because he has driven me sort of crazy. What do you think? Thanks so much, all feedback is appreciated!

Bbuummpp :)

yea, don’t take it. You might as well take it in Community College which probably has the same level of difficulty or more, but with maybe a better teacher.

Just so you know, the only AP Latin that currently exists is Vergil.
