Hey, what's the link to the page where it has the decision? Does it exist yet? (sorry, just having a moment of procrastination/ senioritis)

Stanford will send out email; there's no online decision site for you to check.

and this email will be sent out April 2nd (was it)?

ummm...i think your a bit off. They will post the decision on the same site you normally check into to update your online application. They will send you this site about 3-4 days before sending the decision. They will probably post your decision on the site about 2-3 hours before they email it to you. Good luck!

where do u check your online application? Links please????

Man, you kids sure have it lucky. Back in my day (which was actually only one year ago), Stanford was still being snotty and not doing online decision posts. I had to wait it out and get my rejection letter in the mail, old school style.

Anna Marie Porras, I still hate your guts. Go Bears.

have you guys gotten letters in the mail confirming your application to stanford yet?

never mind i got an email

LOL. Easy now :)

I don't understand somethinhng. Maybe things have changed but I think that Stanford rejects 50-60% of the applications after one preliminary reading. Can't they just send letters off to these early rejects so they don't suffer for so long and in the end still be left with nothing?????

ah well whats the fun in that? plus if they did, i think a lot users wont sign onto CC once they learn their decision

many people come back to CC... but what does that matter? the waiting part is just so hard.

HopefulDove, I believe Stanford is releasing online decisions. If you applied online like i did, once you log on it says

"Once your decision becomes available, you may click on the "application decision" link below."

Welcome to admit.stanford.edu!

We have been working hard since October on a web project to highlight what makes Stanford so amazing and to give you an opportunity to meet current students and other students admitted to the Class of 2010! We are currently putting the finishing touches on the site and are looking forward to unveiling our creation on April 1, 2006 at 12:00 A.M. PST. We hope you will return to the site after its launch to experience all the exciting content weve put together for you, including bulletin boards, a chat room, student profiles, multimedia, and lots of information.

To access the site, you will need a SUNet ID and password. If you have not already created these, please click on the link below to get started now.

Were counting down the days until April 1 (and hope you are, too)!

The Admit Weekend Web Team

so its 12am pst on the 31st?

Well, technically 12:00 AM is the first moment of the new day. So it's 12:00 AM on April 1, which is midnight the night of March 31. 12 AM on March 31 would be midnight the night of March 30.

It's not going to be at 12 am on April 1st. For early action, they put decisions online at around 5 pm pst.

Yeah, but EA date was December 15, a weekday. April 1 is a Saturday.

I don't think it matters. MIT put out its decisions last Saturday at 9 am.

Oh, but MIT is back east, and Stanford is in California. It makes a difference. grin

Seriously, I bet that results go up either Friday (31st) or Monday (3rd).

TrinSF, I doubt they'll wait until the 3rd. It'll prob be Fri 3/31 or Sat 4/1.
