Online App and Activity/Awards Page

On the Online Application, it asks for a list of activities:

"Please tell us, roughly in order of their importance to you, those individual activities and awards which you believe best represent your greatest achievements and interests.

"Tell us approximately how many hours per week each activity entails.

"You may want to consider drawing upon the following areas in compiling your individual list of activities . . .

“Create your answer offline and upload into the online application system here.”

That’s all fine and dandy, I think. Type up a bulleted list of activities. Then I look at the paper application. (Because I was originally going to apply with the paper app.) It’s just a lined sheet of paper - none of those nifty little “fill in the grid with your activities” like on the Common Application which was what I exepected. So here’s my question:

Do they want a list or an essay?

i wrote an essay...it gave me an opportunity to humanize myself and my activities, and to explain their significance

"You may want to consider drawing upon the following areas in compiling your individual list of activities . . ."

List format w/explanations.

Okay, thanks. That what I thought but then I saw the lined sheet for the paper app and I wasn't sure. :)
