On part 2 of the Stanford application, it gives you 6 spots to put in your first semester courses, 6 for your 2nd semester courses, etc. However, at my high school, you're allowed to take an optional 7th period. All 7 of my classes are academic, and I was wondering how I'm supposed to fit in into the 6 slots. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what are you doing about it?

yeah I have the same problem, I'm taking like 8 classes
just fit it into 3rd semester and 4th and make a note to it.
and do not put down useless classes such as health
it doesn't really matter, because your counselors will list all the classes on the school report form and transcripts...

i only have six periods in a day. poop.

i'm surprised they don't have something readily available, because that sounds like it'd be a pretty common problem. once i start the app i'll look into it =) sry i'm not much help right now..

we as seniors are not suppose to take many classes.
two of my classes are from community college, including one website design
another one is health from BYU
so I only have 5 classes at my school

Thanks for all the feedback. :] I just talked to an admissions counselor, and she recommended that I put two classes in one slot (e.g. Economics & AP Calculus BC).
