Does anyone know if they ever post admissions decision online on the Application Status webpage? Or do you HAVE to wait until the letter arrives? Also, is there maybe a way to decode the admissions status? My letter should be coming in the next two weeks and I'm close to losing my sanity! Who knew college admissions could do this to a person?!

no they dont put the decision BUT i did notice one little thing on the online thing...on the front page it says: Your application is complete. And it was like that every day for a while... But i also called u mich every other day since the day i sent my app (i was paranoid) and on the day they told me they made a decision, my online page took out the "Your app is complete". (it was blank instead)...also, assuming you havent done any crime or misdemeanor, on the part that says student conduct (its with teacher recs, counselor recs etc)...if it says CANCELLED (they havent read your app), but when it says NOT NEEDED, it means theyve already made yoru decision (and it was not needed obviously)...2 days after my online app said all this, i got my decision.

pink panther, you're just like me! except i didn't get a decision yet. :( i dono about the CANCELLED part, it's been like that for me for awhile, and i called tuesday and they told me they haven't made a decision. all we can do is sit tight and wait. collegebound, we're all going through this together!

i mean mine says NOT NEEDED, not CANCELLED. but my "Application is complete" part is still there. :(

same with mine, about 3-4 days after my CANCELLED was changed to NOT NEEDED i got my acceptance. good luck.

do they only send out acceptances right now or did people get rejection letters?

a couple friends of mine all received their decisions last week (week of jan 17th) and they were all deferrals.

ohhh hmmm does anyone know about deferrals?

Where is the student conduct part located? I can't seem to find it on the site . . .

its under student credentials......
mine said Not Needed 2 days after they RECEIVED my application....does that mean..??

i wouldn't count on it mishra, mine's ben like that for weeks now. hmph.

so there goes PinkPanthers' theory of online decisions...... :-(

10 weeks...still no decision ok

10?! you're a soldier, lock... i've been waiting about 6 and i'm whining like a baby.

A deferral isn't a decision letter, though. Not technically. It's an informational letter letting applicants know that the University is not yet ready to make a decision on their application.

ohh whooops i meant to say rejection letters

Big Red- or anyone for that matter...
What are some of the stats of people you know that have gotten deferred?
(i've already been accepted but im wondering for some other frineds who applied)
