<p>A word of caution to any that still have not applied. I applied this morning (online app, although my school had already sent my transcript in about a month ago) and got a bit of a surprise. After submitting and paying for the application, there is another sheet you must print out, sign, hand in to your guidance counselor and send in along with your transcript. If you're still waiting to apply, don't!</p>
<p>Also be aware of the following from UIUC's site and app:</p>
<p>"For fall admission, you may apply between September 15 and December 15.... The completed online application and all supporting materials must arrive in the Office of Admissions by the deadline."</p>
<p>Thus, you need to get everything -- app, transcript, counselors statement, test scores -- to the university by December 15, not just mail it by then.</p>
<p>I knew there was a counselor sheet - I downloaded the manual application (has the counselor box thing on there) and gave it to my counselor who included it in the transcript envelope.</p>
<p>What's on this counselor sheet you got after applying online? I'm wondering if its the same thing. If not ... I'm screwed.</p>
<p>You are OK. That counselors box on the paper app is what it is. For on-line app they just make a separate page to be printed and given to counselor because all the rest of your app gets sent via the computer.</p>
