How should I format the optional part where I list my activities?

I wrote it like a short narrative and described each activity I participated in and why I stopped participating in some... Is that okay?

That should be fine! I had prepared a resume to attach to my common app, so I copied and pasted it into that space

Are you doing the optional personal statement?
I don’t think I have time to write one on top of writing one for Rutgers and the Common App…

Will it reflect poorly on me if I don’t submit one?

Well, it’s optional, no? Although, I just used my common app essay.

Maybe I’ll do that. My essay for common app seems to fit the guidelines… Thanks! Best of luck to you!!

You too! I think it would be silly for it to reflect poorly on you for not submitting an essay, but as long as it’s a good essay, it couldn’t hurt to submit! Are you applying to the Honors College?

I probably will even though it’s another essay to write.
What do you think it would take to get in?
GPA and SAT and ACT score-wise?

No real idea. I think they say there are no cutoffs? Although in terms of SATs, I’ve heard it’s 600 or above on all sections in one sitting

That’s not bad. My best in one sitting is 2150 (640CR, 700M, and 770W).
