<p>I was wondering if the word limit is set for online applications (on the essays) and you cant go over this set limit. If so, I need to get working on paper apps. Is it more ostentatious if you exceed the limit on online app in contrast to paper app? Also, do colleges review the applications received (after the deadline of course) randomly or do they go by first come first serve. Im POSTMARKING my app like oct 28 for a Nov. 1 deadline, so do they start looking a few weeks after the deadline? Please respond.</p>
<p>u can exceed word limit (example is UC apps, maximum world limit is 1000, but 1100 words is the most words that can be written)
Forget length, do the essay as if length wasnt a factor, just keep in mind usually 1 page is 250-300 words, 2 pages are 500-600 words. so 2 pages would be maximum
colleges review first come first serve, if they waited till the deadline they wouldnt be able to go through every app</p>
