I’m an old guy going back to school with the goal of getting a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. Because of work, family, etc. it’s not feasbile for me to take a whole bunch of day classes. In my search for universities that offer their engineering curriculum at alternative times or in alternative delivery methods, I ran across a program at the University of North Dakota that offers an online, ABET accredited CE degree. The only catch is that required lab work is completed in a special 1-4 week summer session on their campus.
It sounds like a good idea to me, but I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience with (or has even heard of) this program.
Also, is anyone aware of any other bachelor level engineering degrees that are offered completely online?

Please remember, to keep things on the brick and mortar level. Like, that University of North Dakota. Make sure the school you ultimately decide on attending has an actual brick and mortar campus. And, please make sure to (if you feel the need) call the Higher Education folks of the state the school is located in in order to double check their accreditations.
Also, there are a ton of engineers on this site. I think that there is an actual thread for engineers on this site, so you might desire to post there as well.
From what I can see on their website, UND is an established school. They are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges & Secondary Schools and they look to be a “standard” state school.
The type of program that UND offers is the only kind I would consider…I’ve got no interest in “schools” that don’t have real campuses
