Online Biology Course

I have to take Biology as a general education requirement this semester, but all of the on campus meetings are at inconvenient times or are 6 hours long. I know the subject material is not hard at all, but how time consuming would you say it is and how much of a workload does it entail?

Well, I assume it would depend both on the school and the professor. The school would depend on whether or not there is a strong premed population and/or medical school within the university. These types of schools frequently use “intro” classes as a weeding-out tool. The professor aspect probably speaks for itself: some professors are more harsh than others. You can gather a bit of info ahead of time regarding this by looking at professor rating tools such as ratemyprofessor.com.
