Lately I've been poking around and finding these awesome sites that help out charities just by our generation's obsession with computers! Alright, kidding about that. I can't drive yet, so my volunteer service has been limited so far, though I LOVE volunteering, donating, running fundraisers, and so on. So, just making a list of cool stuff online you can do to still help out without really DOING much:

GoodSearch.com: like Google, but each search donates one cent to a charity of your choice.

Social Vibe: has a website (look it up with the previous one!), but you can link your Myspace/Facebook/etc. to it so that each profile view you get raises money for your charity, as well as gets you cool freebies.

Free Rice: a spelling/math/geography game where your correct answers give rice donations to third world countries.

I know there are TONS of sites like these, so if any of you know any, post them!

(Also, shameless plug: my favorite local charity is the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation of Tucson, AZ. I'd love to raise some money for them with that GoodSearch site I mentioned, but charities don't get paid off until they get $20 or more from searches. We're at about $8.30. So, if you read this, would you mind doing a few searches on that site with our charity's name to help us out? ;) )
