I'm taking Health online, and I'm probably going to be done in a few weeks, but I just realized I didn't put that anywhere on my applications to the schools I already sent. Am I supposed to? Or will it just show up on my midyear report (transcript)? Or what if I don't finish by the time that comes out?

I took an online ecology class last semester. For the applications where I had to fill out what my current year classes are, I listed it there. It is through my school, so it will be on my updated transcript when that goes in, too.

But for an application where I did not have to list my current year courses, my counselor had to list them on the School Report, and she told me she forgot to put my online class on it. So, I just added it to my Activities section for that application.

Hmm ok thanks.. I'm not taking it through my school though so I don't know what to do. I guess I'll list it on my senior year courses for the apps I didn't send yet, but do you think I should email or send letters to the schools I already applied to?

I put online classes and classes I've taken not for credit on the additional information section - I asked MIT admissions when I was applying, and they specifically said NOT to list not-for-credit classes in the class list, as those are only for classes that appear on your transcript. But maybe your schools are different. Also, yes, I would suggest sending an email. Do you get a transcript for that online class? If yes, I would definitely send it. If not, still send an email, or a faxed bit of information, saying that you took that class.
