At my daughter’ school any class taken from any source that is approved by the high school shows up somehow on the high school transcript so I guess it would depend on how the high school words it. Even though it is on her high school transcript you also need to send official college transcripts to colleges you apply to. That would also be school specific as to how the college lists classes.
My daughter did one online college class but neither her high school nor her college transcript list it as online. It really is a question for your high school and the college you use to take the class. By the way it is more useful to say the names of college classes on here because numbering is unique to colleges as well so chem 21 doesn’t tell anyone what class that is.
