If I were to take an online class next fall, how would that look on my transcript?
Would it say that I took it online?
I'm just worried that if it does, once I apply to grad school they may look down on that.
I'd rather take the class in-person, but I'm trying to get those days off in order to be able to work at a place where I'd really like to, so taking it online would be the only way to accommodate.
Thanks.

I just checked my daughter’s unofficial transcript and it does not say anywhere that the online classes she has taken are online classes. But she is headed to grad school in another year and I have never heard that anyone looks down on these classes anyway. Just because they are online doesn’t necessarily make them easier. Some are - but not all. It just makes it easier for her to travel in the summer if she chooses.

There’s no difference. It doesn’t change anything on the transcript at all. Even if the course title on Blackboard said “online” in the course, it doesn’t show up that way on your transcript.

The only way anyone would know the class was online was if you told them.
