quick question, ladies and gents. how do UCs view online classes? i'm in quite a pickle in which one of my classes is an online class (only available one, meh), and i've heard rumblings that online classes are a bit iffy since some UCs may not accept them as credit.

I don’t know how it is for every CCC, but at the two I have attended, your transcript will not indicate that the class was taken online.

I actually just signed for an art class online. They will see the online class as a normal class. So yeah, if you can, take easy online classes so you have more spare time to study for harder classes.

your transcript won’t indicate that your class is online. So, don’t worry.

I’ve taken four online classes so far. In fact, half my units this semester are online (I’m only at school two days a week, yeeee). As everyone else has stated, it counts the same as an on-campus class, and looks the same on your transcript.

i dont know why people look down on online classes…

thanks everyone!

@nero - it’s not that i look down on them. honestly, i LIKE online classes since i can focus on my other classes. that and there is usually not a “scheduled time” that conflicts with other classes. it was the UCs that i was worried about.
