i'm just wondering, have any of you taken college courses while in high school online? if so, which universities/colleges are good for that? do any have better reputations? i'm planning on taking math from colleges online because my school doesn't offer many more math courses for me to take... thank you

b u m p . . .

Yeah I want to know this too.

stanford epgy is alright. i took linear algebra and multivariable calculus there.

i was hoping their approach to be much more abstract and analysis-y, but it was mostly computational techniques, etc. i'd rather learn spectral theory than random useless matrix decomposition algorithms.

it wasn't my cup of tea, but their math courses are good for engineering types who aren't interested in foundations.

suny learning network.
easiest A in the world w/sociology!
pm me with specific questions.

BYU has a great online course program, you can take scads of things online for only $369.00 a pop (or so) plus books. Your mid term and final is proctored for almost every class, except for the History of China classes for some reason. I love their online program, but you have to meet certain deadlines with regards to transcript posting.

Well, I took an online course on psychology, but it was at a community college, so everything was free. :) It's definitely worth a summer to spend though.
