May someone inform me of what colleges are available to take online?
Especially ones located in Connecticut
Check the public community colleges and state universities first. In many states at least some of them offer online classes and degrees.

Tried that, doesn’t give me a complete list of colleges.
Absolutely; check the public universities and community colleges in your home state first. Many offer online degrees, and they’ll be reputable and your least expensive option. In addition, some other CT colleges that offer online bachelors or associates degrees include Quinnipiac, Albertus Magnus, U Bridgeport, Central CT State.
A lot of my students tell me that online college is harder than in person classes, because you have to be much more self motivated. There also tends to be a lot more reading. And many colleges offer part time, in person programs. You can check the community colleges in your home state, for example.
If you do go online, you want to avoid the for profit/proprietary universities like U Phoenix, as employers don’t always respect them, and it can be hard (or impossible) to transfer their classes to other schools. Instead, focus on the online degrees given by reputable, traditional universities. Again, start with the community colleges in your home state. Many offer online degrees, and they are reputable and often your least expensive options.
Examples of reputable, traditional colleges that offer online degrees include Northeastern U, Drexel, UMass, Utica College, U Maryland, Penn State, and lots of others.
Check with your own state’s public universities and community colleges. Chances are that some of them will have good online programs for at least some majors.
@RoaringMice Thank you so much!
