I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there are any online versions of newspapers like the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, etc. I don't particularly like the way newspapers feel and I find them kinda hard to read (flipping through the huge pages lol)... :-/. Thanks.

Yeah, but I think for NY Times, you have to pay an online access fee.

The smell of pulp has a tendency to give me a headache.

There's this website called EBSCO Host where you can access all kinds of periodicals and journals. You need a login number, though. You may be able to use your public library card number, if you have one.

http://www.nytimes.com/ You need to register to access the site. The articles are free for seven days after posting date; after that you have to pay.

http://www.wsj.com/ It's subscription-acessible only, though.

You can also always use Google to find a specific newspaper. Most are free with registration.

as feenotype said, the ny times online is free. once you have registered, you can even have the news emailed to you daily-- you can pick the subjects / areas that you want sent. it is a great convenience!

Lexis Nexis

I don't suppose you're in college, cause if you are u'll have access to this. My access is not what you'd call 100% legal (i don't even know who's account i use), but it works and i never abuse it. They have articles from some of the bigger publications as far back as 30 years, depending on your account. As far as the last 10 years go, it has everything. Foreign news, news wires, magazines, law journals, full legal decisions, etc. If ever you need a specific article, ask. Just know that my PM responses are on-and-off at best.

Many newspapers from around the world now have websites with selected articles, editorials, feature pages, etc. from their daily issues. More often than not though, you will have to register a username, password and valid e-mail address to access the online newspaper.

Go to http://www.onlinenewspapers.com for a good selection of newspapers from around the world.
