Is it true that the online course tests is somewhat harder than those in the blue book? I see some discrepancy...

Does anyone else agree?

Does anyone else agree?

Yes, they are. The online tests Critical reading sections seem longer and harder. But compared to the recent real SAT on November 2012, they are quite good indicators of your real SAT scores.

I personally think that the BB and online course has the same difficulty.

I agree with tanthanh

Anyone else?

From my experience, if you score ~ 2150 in the BB, you’ll likely score ~ 2000 in the online course. The questions are little harder. Last 7 tests from BB are relatively easy compared to the online course. One thing to say, the tests are remake of old tests. Some questions are taken from the tests from 10 real SATs.

It is definitely better options than barron’s and princeton.

So is the blue book not a good measure of how you’ll score then on the real SAT? Also, how do the first three blue book tests compare to the real SAT and Online Course since the first three tests are past exams?

I’m not saying that BB tests are not a good indicator. It depends on people. If you use the BB last 7 tests as an indicator, then your score will be -100<your score<100 . The QAS tests are best indicator of score rather than last 7 of 2nd edition. I think online course are harder than the real SAT. But it’ll prepare you well. there are 4 tests in the online course which are past QAS.

Yea and those 4 tests are a bit more reasonable than the other 6 tests.

I think they are way harder than the real test. I took the QA’s online from a site and I got high scores, while on the Online Course tests I got much lower scores. I’m just going to stick to the QA’s to see what my real score will be
