Online Course Test Scaling

I’m studying for the test this weekend and online I usually get a 2050 (the official course’s tests); as I understand the practice tests online are more dififcult than the blue book’s and the real test. So by notion this would my score be about 2100-2150? I’m really stressing over the test and I want to know if this is what I should expect, as that is the range I’m aiming for. If I could get some definitive answers it would really help my sleep. Thanks again.

Why do you think that the online course tests are harder are than the blue book tests or the real test?
A few of the online course tests are actually administered (i.e., “real”) tests. The other online tests are not actually administered tests, so there are no objective data available regarding their difficulty level. In some ways the non-administered online tests are more up-to-date than are the blue book tests, probably because they were written more recently.

@Plotinus - since the SAT is a standardized test, if the CB is doing its job right should being “up-to-date” matter?

Also, it seems to me that the first test in the online course is harder than other CB tests

OC Test 1 is an actually administered test from May 2006 with an equated curve. If the test is more difficult, this should be compensated by an easier curve.

I don’t know if this is right or wrong, but the Online Course contains question styles and types that do not occur in the Blue Book but that could occur on real tests. This may be because some of the online course material was written later, but I am not really sure of the reason. In any case, I think it is helpful for students to practice with as many different realistic question types as possible.
