Online Course with Concurrent High School Enrollment

Hi all! I'm hoping this is the right place to post for my question.

I am looking into taking an online high school course in replacement of a AP high school course I am currently in. I am enrolled in a California public school, and I was wondering if a program exists for AP US History that is completely independent study, where grading is done online. Our school is using Powerspeak (powerspeak12 Foreign Language Courses) for AP languages, but unfortunately it is a program focused solely on languages; are there any similar programs for AP US History?

You should look into Keystone. I’m currently enrolled in it and I’ve found the curriculum to be appeasing.

How do they grade tests? SOMEONE TELL ME!

Is CTY any good?

My APUSH tests involve multiple choice questions. The midterm and semester final exams consist of a composition multiple choice questions and written answers.

The multiple choice tests can be difficult though. I have an 89.5 in the class right now:/

Why don’t you just cheat on the tests by looking through the textbook while taking it?

I mean, there’s the whole integrity issue and all… But, what’s to stop you?

All of my tests are open book. However, I can’t find the answers directly in the textbook. There is a lot of interpretive thinking involved. The tests are also made more difficult to reflect the open book policy.

They’re not that simple…and you’d fail the AP test.
