Online Courses Anywhere?

Are there any websites where I could apply for courses online and possibly receive school credit? Mainly concerned about Calc BC and Stats because my school's dropping it next year.

there are a few places that offer courses online, but you’d need to talk to your coucellor to see if you would receive any credit for taking these courses. As far as websites go, Stanford has its EPGY program, and I believe Johns Hopkins also has one.

Definitely look at Indiana University. Lots of kids from our high school take health as a correspondence class/online class or something like that through Indiana University - they offer many courses.
You could also consider community college calculus, of course.

Look up virtual school. It would be helpful to know which state you live in.

-_-" how about international?

im taking classes at flvs but they dont have bc or stat so i gotta take them at a community college

Northwestern Center for Talent Development ([Advanced Placement Courses, Gifted LearningLinks, Center for Talent Development, Northwestern University](http://www.ctd.northwestern.edu/learning/coursesap.html)) has College Board-audited courses that are certified for high school credit in both AP Calc BC and AP Stats. At least at schools in my area, high schools will pay the tuition fee if the courses being taken aren’t offered in school. I prefer them to some other online providers b/c of the breadth of course offerings; for example, both Stanford EPGY and Johns Hopkins CTY don’t offer AP Stats.

Any one has took CTD before? My d has took EPGY and went to CTY summer program. I am not familer with CTD. Does your local high school count the credit as original credit?
