online courses at community college

Does ucla generally accept online courses at community college for college credit/articulation agreements? The course I plan on taking is under the articulation agreement for GEs, but im taking the online class version of it. do you think the class will be classified/categorized differently in the transcript? the online class's course name is basically the same name at the regular course name except that its taken online.

Yes, it should definitely be counted the same as a regular class. I took a general psychology class online and on my transcript, there was no section that specified my classes as either regular or online. I did receive the units and credit for introductory psychology here at UCLA. Just in case you didn’t know, for every 1 semester unit, it counts as 1.5 quarter units. So if it’s a 3 unit class, you’ll be receiving 4.5 quarter units at UCLA.

If you’re not 100% sure, you can also double check by calling the counseling office.

cool, thx for the help man
