I am in high school, and my schedule in school is so full. I want to take some additional courses, but online courses work best for me. Do top schools (Ivies and Stanford, etc) see online courses as bad? Obviously, I am doing it because it works with my schedule, not because I want to take an easy way out. If I explain that, do you think they'll understand? Or should I not take online courses? These courses range in subject matter from science to humanities. I do take all my core math, history, and English, as well as honors/AP science courses, at school. The online courses are just additional learning. Thanks!

Several students at my dd school take online ap courses to beef up their number of ap courses (ones not offered at the high school) and hopefully boost their gpa. They actually can be more difficult. I think it is ambitious and probably would be viewed as such.

Thanks Momom77! Bump!
