So I have a pretty full schedule during the school year, but this summer I was thinking of taking an online course. It doesn't count for college credit (I don't believe), but does it still look good on a resume?

Or

Do you mean does it look good on your high school transcript? Even if it doesn’t count towards your GPA, it’ll probably show up on your resume I don’t know if it will show up on your transcript. If you have any interest in the class, take it, and get a good grade, then it will look good. What classes are you thinking about?

Massive open online courses will not show up on your high school transcript.
You can put them on your resume if you want, but there are definitely better uses of your time if your resume is all you care about.
