Hi all.
I am currently a community college student hoping to transfer to UF for fall of '11.
I was curious as to whether it looks better to take onsite classes as opposed to online classes? Or if it matters at all? Is there a way the college can tell if the course was taken online, and do they care?
All my classes so far have been in a classroom, but next semester I need to pack on a few more credits, and might need to add one or two online classes...

Talk with your counselor about this. Usually when courses are recorded on a college transcript there isn’t any indication about how the course was delivered: English 101 (taught live) and English 101 (taught online) both appear on the transcript as English 101. However, at your CC, they may indeed be recorded differently.

Nowadays, few colleges or universities care whether a course was taken online or live. That is because almost so many of them now offer extensive selections of online courses themselves. If your counselor is familiar with UF, he/she will be able to tell you if this matters for UF.
