<p>I was browsing through the threads concerning the date and the time of the online decision notification for Interim Decision applicants and noticed the general confusion among those who applied ID.</p>

<p>i think financial awards are mailed later? That what happened with chicago (i applied there ea)</p>
<p>I don't know if it includes financial aid/scholarship package. Ususally they come in snail mail after you check your online decision.</p>
<p>cr_book, this information is directly from the Rice admissions office. They sent me an email as an answer to my phone inquiry regarding my Rice identification number and stuff, and it included the above information. So I thought it would be good to share this, since it is from a pretty reliable source.

<p>Scholarships come in the MAIL with your acceptance folder. Fin aid comes in later after you send in CSS/FAFSA/TR's/W-2's</p>

<p>My bad I was still shifting thourgh all the rumors and he say she say on this forum.</p>
<p>i called rice admissions just now and the person who answered said that they would be mailing out decisions on friday and that online decisions would be up sometime on saturday, most likely sometime in the afternoon.</p>
<p>damn it...means us internationals have no chance of getting the mail before the online decision which suks...i wanted the thrill of opening the letter.</p>
<p>dunno. Antarius here got his letter on the eighth while he was in india.</p>
<p>If they don't mail till friday then nobody's going to get it before online decisions except maybe people who live in Houston.</p>

<p>just called Rice. a lady told me that they r dispatching letters just now where as they will post the decisions online by tomorrow evening. said there was no specific time but they will post it by the evening...so guys keep checking.</p>
