Is there a ranking for the best distance learning programs? I heard Strayer was pretty good.

someone...anyone

bump again.

just go to a regular college man

univ of phoenix has ok online degrees, but around 65% of people who start the term with distance learning end up dropping, it is very tough.

Gatechboy, what the hell kind of answer was that? Not everyone can go to a classroom university.

why not???

cause he's funny-looking and embarressed to show himself in public!

(joke)

lol. but really, i dont see the advantage in going to an online school. wont some people look down on that

I myself am going to a college. However, I would like to gain furthur knowledge at an online institution.

To Gatechboy- Are you naive? Could you not think yourself of all reasons someone would get a degree at an online institution over the regular classroom?
If not, let me help you.
Lack of time
Lack of money
Ability to get degree faster
Work at your own pace
Easier - Not as challenging
Do not want to leave home
Only want to study courses that are necessary for a particular job
Can get a refund if do not want to continue

You should have been able to come up with at least one reason from the hundreds available, before posting a negative statement.

many people get their masters while working full time dumbass!

Most buissness will subsidze the tution.

why would they want to spend all kinds of time commuting from their houses to a college when the can go to an accretited university in their homes.

Just to let you know, most people that are doing those programs just need the degree itself, the instituion name is not very important for many of them or for teir companies.

The companies just want to see that Masters on your records.

not really, because if you check the u.s constitution, it states that here not be see not be yo momma son

My english teacher is working on her master's through online education, and her main complaint is she is computer literate, so it can be a challenge. You are so naive for thinking everyone can attend a traditional university.

I think you mean computer illiterate because being computer literate would not be much of a complaint.

Funny post intelliot. Yes a online degree would be a snap for the computer literate.

"not really, because if you check the u.s constitution, it states that here not be see not be yo momma son"

At least we can all agree you need to go to school. (Whether that be an online education or not)

I think Columbia has a bunch of online degrees. You don't even have to go to school...just stay at home and earn a degree. I'd say that's the best online degree program I know of...its highly advertised in downtown NY.

No, you cannot get a degree from Columbia through online courses. You may do courses for credit though.

"No, you cannot get a degree from Columbia through online courses "
