I am currently preparing for a move across the country, from California to Florida. I will be an incoming sophomore. As a result of moving to an entirely new state, I am ahead in some subjects and behind in others, like science. My California school requires freshman to take Earth Science while the Florida school requires their freshman to take Biology, not even offering an Earth Science course. To make up for this, my future counselor has signed me up for two honors science courses.

Currently, for sophomore year, I am signed up for:

AP World History
Pre AP English
Algebra 2
Honors Biology
Honors Chemistry
2D/3D Art
Early Childhood Development

My new school requires all students to take at least one class with FLVS and my counselor said that taking Honors Biology online is definitely an option, but she did not recommend it as the course requires experiments. Her exact words were, "We wouldn't want you dirtying up your mother's kitchen, now would we?"

As of today, I am planning on majoring in International Relations or Political Science and am not very interested in lab sciences. My Earth Science class was designed to allow me to take AP Bio and AP Chem my sophomore year but my new school does not offer either of these classes.

This post is getting a bit lengthy, so I will sum it up like so, should I stick with my current schedule with two honors science courses within the regular school day, or take Honors Biology online and fill up both the Biology and online course requirement? I realize that either way, I will be taking two science courses each day but was wondering if having one after school, online, might ease up the load.
