Hi, I am looking for a list of online graduate schools, does one exisit?

I also want to know if anyone here has obtained their Master's Degree from a reputable univeristy online? If so, what were the criteria you had to go through in order to get admission? Did you need the GRE?

I know some major MBA programs, like Duke (Fuqua) and Indiana (Kelley), have online programs that require minimal on-campus presence. I am not sure such programs exist for other graduate fields.

Waht I am seeking is not an MBA, I am seeking something in the health services or public health and nutrition sector that would require me to never have to go to the campus one time. I know online master's programs are avaialble, but the problem is to find a list has been quite difficult.

I have no interest in the U of P but thank you. I am looking for other schools. The website you sent though is excellent, thank you, thank you thank you!

My sister, a chemical engineering alum from RPI and captain in the airforce (former ROTC member), is doing an online masters in Enviro eng out of Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX, mainly because she lives in Guam (for the airforce) and there are no good schools there, and SMU was the only school that offered this long distance program. She did have to take the GRE and gain admittance into the program.

Not at first. You are allowed to take 5 courses, if you get good grade, your GRE does not matter. But I think you still have to take them. People at my work place are taking them and they said it's all math, quite hard for engineering.

Also please look at BU, I heard the rep guy there said they have online MBA but that was not what I was after so I did not go further.

There is a Peterson's guide to distance degrees , plus their website/directory. Most public libraries have the major distance degree directories, so you can evaluate the usefulness rather than purchase right away. Also: gradschools.com an extensive directory. Also onlinegraduateschool.tripod.com for newer degrees on various areas incl.health. http://forums.degreeinfo.com has lively discussions and sometimes very good program listings offered by readers and BTDT's. U.S. regional accreditation by the standard U.S reg accred agencies is essential.

Thank you for the response bookcases, apprecaited and the link is extremely helpful! Thank you!

I am not also looking into something the combines health with
counseling services, does such a thing exist? By counseling services I mean such as a life coach or a person who assists people in getting them to think more about their choices in life to help them feel happier and help solve their problems.

I'm not too sure about Health Science in particular, but i know the following *real schools (ie, schools that exist in physical form) have their distance learning program:

Columbia University (CVN)
University of Southern California (DEN)
GeorgiaTech
Stanford University
Rensselear Polytech Institute (ProEd)
Purdue university
Carnegie Mellon University
U of Maryland
UT Austin
Texas A&M
Penn State University
Indiana University

Hmm ok thank you cooldw57, very helpful! Thank you.

Another possiblity is counseling services masters, or something that combines health and counseling, if not then just counceling and I may consider a double masters. By counceling I mean learning how to be a life coach or someone who assists in getting somone's life back on track and helping them with their life issues, not a pyscologist.
