I dropped out of high school a few years ago and I recently decided to finish/continue my education and go to college. I talked to the guidance counselor at my high school and I was advised to pursue a GED at one of the adult education centers in the county. I called them and was told that I could still receive a traditional high school diploma with them and it wouldn't take long since I am only missing 2 credits. It would be mostly online except for exams and I would need to come in for one hour at least once a week. My problem is that I can't go in the hours that they're open. I'm now wondering if I should enroll in an "online" high school. Some look a bit fishy and aren't clear about certification or whether or not they allow adults. My goal is to recieve a high school diploma or equivilent that would be accepted by a college or university in Florida. If someone could point me in the right direction or share some advice I would be very grateful.
