Many of my colleges have online systems that allow the applicant to check what application materials have arrived at the admissions office, and some other schools have sent letters when applications became complete. I submitted an ED II app to Midd a few weeks ago, and have received no information from the college about what materials they have. While I suspect everything has arrived as planned, my school's guidance office is not particularly reliable when it comes to sending transcripts on time, and both my recs were sent by snail mail. Does Midd notify applicants when apps are complete, and if so when should I expect this notification? Do they deliver final admissions decisions online or through the regular mail system?

My daughter applied ED I and was deferred. She received a letter from Middlebury telling her how to log in (URL, User-id, Password) to see the status of her application (what forms and test scores they had in their posession). This info came via Snail Mail.

My son also applied ed2 and received an email within a day or so with the information to login to their system. I would suggest carefully checking your spam folder or any other kind of email blocking system. The email came from aar@middlebury.edu . Try and add that to your trusted recipients or similar list.

1) Go to: https://jade.middlebury.edu/PNTR/saturn_midd.adm_decs_utlq.adm_login_page?

2) Click: FORGOT YOUR USER NAME OR PASSWORD

3) Fill in the info and retrieve your user name and password

Thank you for this info! And thank you gibby, for that link, I got my username and password that way.

For anyone else who has experienced problems with the midd online system: although I received other emails from Middlebury admissions, I never received any email after I applied about my application. After using gibby’s above link to get my password and check my status, it showed many items as missing, including an ED agreement and high school transcript. It also showed teacher recs that went out in October as received in the middle of January. I knew my entire application was submitted by mid December, so I contacted admissions, and they rechecked my data and found they did have everything, and that they had received it all months earlier. If the online system data seems incorrect to you: it may be. Don’t panic. Ask your guidance counselor to call, or email admissions yourself to see what the story is.
